Tired eyes..

Today's the 2nd day of my work.. i am starting to know a little more of my company and my job and it's probably not going to be a bed of roses. Anyway I'm feeling much better now that I got over the initial shock.

Well last weekend was fun. We had house warming and there was lots of alcohol, cos its so cheap here. It was a long time since i last drank. It was a pretty joyous affair altho i didn't really enjoy myself as much. Maybe because I was missing everything back home a little.

Then the next day we had classes with this 67 yr old guy.. who's pretty accomplished and he's really interesting with lots of stories and tips about life. So let me share one tip here...

"Do not waste your lunch away"

Everyday lunch is a precious time for pple to interact.. be it with frens or just accquantainces. Well of cos over here in Sillcon Valley, we get to learn a lot more and build contacts if we have lunch with all the big shots and CEOs.. well if possible, have lunch with your profs.. Maybe some friendly chap by the name of Seah something.. Well over lunch, there's not much damage they can do to you.. but its certainly more useful should we ever need to approach them again.

Anyway.. let's carry on.. that following nite, saturday, we packed ourselves in a Multi-seater Vechicle,( read Mini Van, some what about the same size as Uncle Jimmy's) and headed off for San Fransico, a 1 hour's ride away... Well it was Saturday night, and the 'young and happening' were out in full force. So we walked around and San Fransico and we had fun taking in the sights and sounds.. which i will probably put up the pictures soon.

I opened my pencil case the other day

And I was reminded of you,
having exactly the same one back home.
I wondered how were you doing,
backhome in lecture in NUS.

This is a journey i must take first,
for exploration is always a lonely job in the beginning.
But baring in mind the long way we are going to be walking together,
this one year will really just be a short recess.

As we get on with the chores and work,
weighed by the burdens of living,
we might not be constantly on each others' minds,

but we will be in each other's heart.

That's how it is and that's how it will be.

You noe, me and you have this connection, like how we will always echo each other, make the same 'sounds', have the same reactions, think along the same line and lots more.

True, we may not be knowing what each other's up to these days. But you are still the one that noe me the dearest, understand me the best, and the closest to my heart. Of cos, there's also a bunch of zhu peng gou yous like ray, pingbu and kaibei or even dick who can understand me and predict me well, but they are definitely not as dear to me as you are.

As i read yur mail, your blog, my eyes watered. I dun noe if those that read yur blog too can sense or empathise with you... me, I can feel excatly how you were feeling. and i teared. for i can feel how much you missed me and u longed for my call and how disappointing for you when you dun hear fr me, esp when you stayed up late and woke up early. our hearts are one.

you noe that i'm seldom moved by circumstances or pple. ie. i do not compromise myself drastically to suit all my past relationships. That i think i used to said to you. But for us, do you noe that i have always believed that i have never been compromised. Simply because you are such a nice and understanding gf.

i hope i had been a nice bf and best fren too.

I noe that you will be checking my blog.. and probly have been checking my blog everytime you are online.. and i hope this will light you up.. to finally find that my blog is up and running again after all the past disappointments.
